Getting Ready To Go To Disney World

Well I have been exercising and getting ready for my week at Disney world with the family. Last time I was there my oldest daughter was only 3 , it will be interesting how she views it now at 7.

I put this blog here because I have no idea what to do with my my domain name lols. I figured until I figure it out I will keep blogging.

While I enjoy Disney World I prefer vacations in small towns that nobody knows about. They seem to have the most interesting sites.

After a trip to Disney you need to take a vacation from the vacation.

I am not sure about Angelina and Brad, I have seen several articles online talking about this. I think  sometimes being a celebrity sucks. I mean I don’t think I would want my parents discussing my personal preferences to the world.  It would annoy me to constantly have people sticking their nose where it doesn’t belong.

At least something improves with age.  It’s to bad, I wish I knew then what I know now.  I am sure many of us would like to go back in time and do things a little different.  After reading the article I think I can agree with it. Relationships do get better with age. When we are younger we are quick to judge and act. Very quick tempered. It takes aging to slow us down and really let things soak in.

This whole oil spill thinking going on in the gulf is insane, you would think with all the technology and knowledge people have things like this wouldn’t happen. I started watching this thing when it first happened. Whats with all the bull shit with the company not coming clean with how much oil is actually being spilled out.  There shouldn’t even be an argument or delay. You would think they would get it together and fix this dam mess, but they haven’t..

I am not sure how I feel about this, I was certainly brought up in a strong christian family.  As far back as I can remember there have been talk about the end days , trials and tribulations. It does seem that every year we are hearing about doom and gloom. I think the reality is nobody really knows for sure what god has in store for the planet or when.

I would think God doesn’t have to do anything at all, us humans seem to screw stuff up on our own. God simply has to sit back and watch us destroy our own civilization.

Who Wrote The First Psychedelic Song Anyways?

A interesting question came up today while I was conversing with a friend about psychedelic music. So I decided to hunt down the fathers so to speak of Psychedelic Music.

Psychedelic music started in the 1960’s with all that free love nonsense.  I never was to big into the hippy movement, but I sure did love a lot of the music that came out during that time period.

What set this type of music apart from other types of music was it’s eastern influence and use of rare instruments and all types of experimental sounds.

So I really couldn’t find the answer to what was the first song, but I did find out who was the first band that got labeled Psychedelic Rock

I didn’t stop their I figured while I am at it I would search out some of the more known music.  When you say the words Psychedelic music many people instantly think Beatles, probably because of tracks like Lucy In the Sky Of Diamonds.

Jimi Hendrix came on the scene like a flash of lighing, he was only on the scene for a short time , but in that time he made an explosion in music that is still felt today.

This list wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t mention this next band, The grateful dead had a huge following and I remember even in the late 80’s and early early 90’s people in my school where all about them. So ya you can say they made a huge impact on people

Seriously though all these bands are all well and good, and I am sure I could of listed dozens more, but none of those could even touch this next band. They took Psychedelic to a whole new realm of sound all together
