I find it fascinating that every time I talk to someone who focuses on how poor they are , the less they have. Interestingly for many years I was that person. I was the person who looked at money negatively. It took me some time to realize that I was hurting myself with my own stinking thinking.

What happened to me is I got tired of struggling. unfortunately I had to hit rock bottom before I decided to fix what was broken. That is to say I fixed me. One of my passions in life is martial arts.

I started applying martial arts principles: I took the principle “simply to simplify” and “use what is useful and disregard the rest” and started applying those into my online business. That led me to start looking at how I was thinking about money in general.

…As I studied myself I started seeing a pattern.

My mind started to get re-programmed. What happened as a result though was I started things that attracted money into my life. Looking back I can now say with absolute certainty that it was me hurting me.

Once I changed how I saw things and started re-programming myself things started working in my favor.

One of my favorite places to escape for the weekend  is the Spencer Silver Mansion In Havre De Grace Maryland.

Today is Veterans day in the United States,  it is a day for us to remember those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. At times we take for granted our liberties. We take for granted being able to leave our house and go to work or play with our kids.

We say that life is hard…

I am proud to call myself an american. Not the TV version of an American or the political version of what an American is. Rather I am proud to born and raised in a country who’s ideas stand for freedom, prosperity & the right to choose how to live my life.

FREEDOM is something that we take for granted. Maybe the world isn’t perfect, but our history is full of great people who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could live in peace. I dream of one day getting past our petty differences, so that those who gave up their lives didn’t give them up in vain.

Today as you see all the facebook media, news coverage stop for a moment. Find someplace quite and remember. Remember those who sacrificed their lives so that yours can live free. Remember the families that lost their son’s, daughters, fathers so that you can sleep at night knowing that you are free.

Not living in slavery and bondage…

..Not being controlled by a tyrannical government

I am not really sure why your visiting my Larry Rivera blog. The reason why this blog was created was because as I was learning how to market online I was taught that you should buy yourname.com. It’s a good thing I did too, because apparently I am not the only Larry Rivera out there that is promoting on the internet.

When I get asked what I do online, I often reply:

“I help people free themselves from financial bondage and slavery”

When I got started marketing online in 2002 I didn’t really know what I was doing. I just believed that it was possible to make money online. I figured that if I plugged away long enough, spend enough money I would eventually unlock the mysteries of the universe so to speak.

I quickly realized that if your not careful you could spend way more money than you have to.

You shouldn’t spend your time trying to re-create the wheel. Everything you need to know is already available. You simply have to plug into what is working.
