Staying Consistent In Action – The Path To Life Long Success

I was just thinking today how so many people start something and never finish what it is they started.  It seems when the going get’s ruff people just quit.  I am sure we all deal with our own demons in our own way.

I find it hard to believe though that by giving up on something you really wanted to accomplish will satisfy you. I think by giving up on something you wanted a little piece of you is torn away. We tend to live in the moment, so in the moment it seems like giving up is the easy way out of something.

…In truth;

Giving up only causes you to get depressed and feel like a failure. Nobody says you have to get to where you are going right away. I am a very happy guy. I love life, I love what I do but only because I have never given up on myself.

That’s what this blog post is about today, not giving up on your dreams.

Don’t sacrifice your dreams and ambitions, stay the course no matter how long it takes to get you there. All other roads leave you unfulfilled and always wondering what if. I talk to people all the time who are unhappy in their lives.

I doesn’t and shouldn’t be that way. Ironically we create our own sadness if you will. It’s a quite sadness that nobody else knows about. If you ask me it’s the worst kind. It’s the kind that leads to depression and other ugly emotions.

The simple fix if you will is just to decide once and for all your not giving up. EVER!  That YOU are going to do it! And your going to keep doing it and doing it till you get the results you want.

That’s my rant for the day!

…Well we survived yet another end of the world scare.

As we trek forward into the unknown of 2013 it’s time to take a look back to see how far we have come and look to the future. Years past I use to write a list of resolutions, but I found that writing that list did nothing for me in terms of keeping my goals. Then again, I have never wrote my list on my blog so this is a first and maybe this blog post will help keep me accountable to my goals for 2013.

My New Year’s Resolution List For 2012

When I turned 30 I decided  I wasn’t getting any younger and now would be a good time to start getting in shape. I ended up getting in the best shape of my life. I went from 225 to about 175. I maintained that weight for about 5 years and then took a year off. In that year I gained back 25 pounds. I find myself again battling my genes. This time around though, I plan on getting in even better shape than I was even 3 years ago.

The end of 2011 into 2012 I started a new home based business.  I joined Empower Network. I have been involved with online marketing for about 12 years now. I actually did struggle for many years. It always seemed like no matter how much money I spent, I just couldn’t crack the code. What I discovered is it wasn’t my effort that was the problem it was the commissions structure. Simply put I earned to little bit of money to create any meaningful results.

I made really good money last year in Empower Network, the commissions structure is solid, the company is solid the best part is I have been looking for a program for years that would take a person by the hand and literally show them step by step what they have to do to be successful online.

I continue to train in my martial arts. –> It’s been about 18 years now that I started my journey in Kung Fu. Specifically Wing Chun, Tai Chi, Chi’na. My study into internal martial arts has given me great insight to what is possible with the human body.

What I Hope To Accomplish In 2013

As I said in the beginning of this post, I struggled online for many years. Empower Network is the closest I have come to realizing my online dreams and ambitions. This year I plan making even more money and helping more people see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I will loose that bothersome 25lbs I put on last year…

…Last but certainly not least I plan on continuing striving to be a good Husband & Father 🙂

December | Vacation Florida | Disney World Christmas (Part 1)

Vacationing In Florida Disney World Style

While I didn’t stay at a Disney resort this time. We stayed at a Hilton with time share that we own.  anyhow we had a lot of fun I got lots of pictures and took video’s with my new Iphone 5. I did upload 1 video to Facebook but it took so long I decided to upload the rest of the videos on YouTube.

I thunk I will spread these videos and post across several post since I am still trying to sort thru stuff. I just wanted to get some stuff up to share with you 🙂

Here is the video I uploaded to Facebook. It’s only a little over 2 minutes long but it took like 45 minutes to upload to FB.

…Anyhow it was taken in Disney’s Hollywood studios on their main street. It’s a really cool Christmas light display. I got a little of the back story on the lights. Apparently from what I am told Disney bought the lights from one guy who use to set up the display in his hometown.

I have to say every time I visited Disney World it has been in the summer. This is the first time I have visited and it was in the winter. I don’t think I will ever be able to go down to Disney again in the summer.

The lines where shorter, the weather was nice. It got up to about 83 degrees. Considering it’s in the 30’s right now where I live it was a nice little break.

Hurricane Sandy Came And Went And Caused Lots Of Destruction

I can’t really say I was hoping to bring you pictures and videos of the damage that was done by this monster. I was very fortunate because where I live is only about 30 minutes from the shore, I didn’t even loose electricity.

The fact of the matter is, the hurricane from where I live which is in South Jersey didn’t cause any problems. We where prepared though. We had extra water, generator standing by and getting ready to hunker down in the basement.

All I can really say is thank the good lord above that we where spared the damage that happened only 30 minutes down the road.

I just wanted to quickly drop a line and let everyone know we dodged the bullet this time…..

…It’s amazing that this was going on all around us

Hurricane Sandy Slamming My Home – New Jersey – Atlantic County Reporting In

If you haven’t yet seen today there is a massive Hurricane heading my way and her name is Sandy. She is one of the biggest storms I will be riding out. I happen to live in an area very close to the coast. In fact the towns closest to the shore have all been evacuated already and Sandy is still a good 200 miles away.

Some are saying that this storm reminds them of the *Perfect Storm The real storm happened in 1991 unnamed nor’easter .

So it’s not like storms like this haven’t happened before.

 Here is some recent news about Hurricane Sandy

As you can see here in New Jersey we are right in it’s path.

At the time of this writing Hurricane Sandy is still 200 miles off shore, here are some shots I found of the storm NOW!
